I use this lubricant on everything. It is a food-grade lubricant which means that there are no ingredients in it that are considered to be toxic or harmful if ingested.
It is a silicone-based lubricant rather than a petroleum-based lubricant. What this means to me is that it will not affect any rubber (petroleum-based) O rings or seals that it comes into content with.
A petroleum-based lubricant can cause rubber O rings and seals to break down and deteriorate. This makes the rubber expand and weaken, making it a less effective seal.
