Recommended Anode Rods

Corro-Protec CP-R Water Heater Powered Titanium Anode Rod (40-80 Gallon Tank) – Eliminate Odor (Sulfur/rotten egg smell), Corrosion and Reduce Limescale

When your hot water has a strong rotten egg smell that is just un-barrable! This durable Titanium anode rod is less likely to produce hydrogen sulfide which is is often the source of that horrible rotten egg odor that you have been getting from your hot water heater tank.

It will tend to last much longer than a magnesium, aluminum or zinc anode rod and will eliminate the sulfur smell from your water.

Don’t forget to get the proper socket for removing your old rod and securing your new one.

Aluminum Zinc Hex Head Flexible Anode Rod (.800″ x 3/4″ x 44″) – Stops Rotten Egg Smelly Water!

A more common aluminum/zinc anode rod that should work just fine for occasional to mild sulfur odor caused by your hot water reacting with your hot water heaters anode rod.

Not as effective for strong odor and tends to not last as long as a Titanium rod, but fine for mild odor issues.

Don’t forget to get the proper socket for removing your old rod and securing your new one.
